Go the distance

I have often dreamed, of a far off place
Where a hero's welcome, would be waiting for me
Where the crowds will cheer, when they see my face
And a voice keeps saying, this is where I'm meant to be

I'll be there someday, I can go the distance
I will find my way, if I can be strong
I know ev'ry mile, will be worth my while
When I go the distance, I'll be right where I belong

Down an unknown road, to embrace my fate
Though that road may wander, it will lead me to you
And a thousand years, would be worth the wait
It might take a lifetime, but somehow I'll see it through

And I won't look back, I can go the distance
And I'll stay on track, no, I won't accept defeat
It's an uphill slope, but I won't lose hope
Till I go the distance, and my journey is complete

But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part
For a hero's strength is measured by his heart

Like a shooting star, I will go the distance
I will search the world, I will face its harms
I don't care how far, i can go the distance
Till I find my hero's welcome, waiting in your arms

I will search the world, I will face its harms
Till I find my hero's welcome, waiting in your arms

AWAY

Have been 'literally' away for sometime if you know what have been happening at home. Then followed by the mad rush to catch up on
my work progress for what I've missed out during the entire wk. No one will understand how crazy it was. But it's all over! So, it's time to catch up on sleep & rest! Which I've been doing for the past days beside going back for CCA & working on the nyaa exhibition designs. A little more to go (:

The past 2 months have been 'happening'. I know things happen for a cause. So be it a happy or a sad ending, there's always a reason behind everything. Something we need to learn; to understand and to accept the changes. Forgive and forget. Life's so much easier this way don't you agree? I wish I could be a much stronger to accept that life is unpredictable. They come and they go anytime. Perhaps, i need more time & courage to overcome what is missing...

ps: thanks friends for the concerns & smses. i'll stay strong (:

One month ago

This was taken on ah gong's 93th birthday just one month ago. Never did we expect him to leave everyone of us this morning. Indeed, life is fragile and unpredictable! Gone were the days after every visits at the hospital, we head home with a glimpse of hope that ah gong will soon be discharged and recover.

I've also been thinking that after fyp I would be so much freer to visit him. Perhaps, ah gong is tired and needed a long rest. Will always remember him. Not to forget those trips with grandma, sis n mum to his fav dumpling stall at outram, the china apple drink and many more. Last but not his cheerful smile (:

I understand that I've to stay strong to help out for the next few days, find time and ways to tackle my crit 2. Though there are times I'm confused and lost but I know I'll find my way through all this obstacles one day. Ah gong, I'll miss you!

PS: For any urgent matters, do contact me via sms.

Though today is a bright sunny day, my body feel the otherwise. Seems to be pouring heavily inside then the sun began to shine again. Then the cycle keep repeating by itself =/ Feeling feverish, the irritating flu, sore throat and body aches. Haven't been able to conc on my work and having been progressing much. Sigh. Look like my body need more rest for the time being.

PCN

Early in the morning, met up with love and we went cycling using the park connector to changi village for breakfast. Had tim sum, porridge and my no. 1 fav siew mai! Then we cycled to changi beach then over to the road behind the airport that connects to East Coast Park.

Cycled abt 10 km plus in a morning :) Resulted in numb and painful butt even though e ride was considered relatively smooth :P
Maybe it's time to cycle more often since we haven't been doing so for a long time. Thank you my lovely partner for helping me out with e research gathering and photo taking. And cheering me on throughout the ride. I shall plan more cycling trips to discover e other connectors. Thank you drew (:

What if everyone did what they'd do?
