Yest, celebrated Yan Ching's 21st birthday at dte (: Haven been in there for quite sometime, not much changes after so many years. We also surprised and celebrate Sin Ee's birhtday. More and more friends are turning 21 already.
It's good to see closed friends during occasion like this and perhaps every weekend. Because work is forever busy and my life is busy because of work.
Came across this from a book:
"Design studios are a mixture of slave camp and enchanted playground; the good ones maintain a balance between these two polarities. You can't avoid the slave camp resemblance -you will have to work long hours with not much pay and little recognition. But you won't mind this, because among all the relentless pressure you will glimpse moments of enchantment. You will see pleasure that comes from doing good work and making a contribution.
Isn't it so true? I'm always looking forward to fridays and the weekends after such a long and tiring wk at work. The chit-chat session with my partner in crime after work. We came to a realisation that our life at work is so mundane that we talked and maybe complained about the same old issue everyday on the same short cut to the train station. It's a blessing to have such like-minded friend at work. On a lighter note, sometime there's just too many good yet 'unhealthy' memories to keep. It's such an irony, but that's a reality.
对生活有热忱 的人,最懂得人生。
Taken a few wks back when the boy came over to fix my ikea black board. Thank you love. He just called from malacca, glad that he's coming back tml and we'll be going to sharon's 21st bd together (:

Gloria's 21st - costa sands

(:

It's a pity to have to miss out the opportunity on exposure and maybe one of the best experience.
If only i'm a little richer and maybe more time on my hand!

Still recovering from my flu and sore throat a few days back. It's the weather and perhaps the lack of sleep. Yesterday, I left work on time for once and headed home for a home-cooked dinner (which i really miss) and knocked out at 10 aft the medicine. It's been a while i had such a good night sleep.

On a lighter note, my boy and I have booked our holiday during over the weekends. I'm looking forward to it maybe because it's our first solo trip together and though I have been to shanghai, malaysia, chiangmai & bangkok the previous trips have always been school or work related. After working hard for close to a year, I think it's time for a break. Meanwhile, will do more reading up and will continue to save up for the upcoming trip in june!
