香港二人行 (Day 1)

Hong Kong, a vibrant city full of energy, a charming city known for its rountine of eating and shopping. From Singapore Changi Airport, we took UA 896. We got to the airport early in the morning, 4am plus. Thanks ken for the ride (: The terminal was rather empty, we checked in the luaggages and had honey pancakes for breakfast. 

Arrived at 10 plus am in HK International Airport, took the bus transit and check into hotel in Ya Ma Tei area. We spent the afternoon checking out the wet market nearby. The ordinary wet market looked charming, full of energy and colours. We had good time walking along Nathan road and window shopping. 

By evening time, we went passed the grandeur Peninsula Hotel. Nice exterior, being one of the most internationally recognizable hotels in HK, located at the junction of Nathan Road and Salisbury Road.

Hello I'm back!

I had a good time over there :) Thanks my love for being the translator and helping to bargain with e stall owners throughout e 5 days. It was great that we were able to do nothing except eating, shopping, exploring without any disturbance from other commitments. But nothing beats coming home to a place you are most comfortable in (:

Till then will slowly upload the photos once I've consolidated them, promise. 

I've been waiting patiently for this day to come, to fill up my luggage and leave again for another adventure and a new experience. Oh HK,  here i come...

Haven't step into the kitchen for sometime (: Decided to whip up something easier since mum is away and i'm sick of eating take-aways. Met up with bestful at ehuh for cold cut trio this afternoon. Finally done with her birthday invitation designs. Nothing beats the smile on the client's face! Those kind of satisfaction.. esp for a designer (:  I'm almost done packing my luggage. Looking forward to see and feel the HK culture!

Last Sunday

Lunched with the family over at ling zhi. Was sort of a early father's day celebration since mum just flew off 2 days ago while i'm flying off this fri. Thanks love for being the photographer! Headed to the Christian Lacroix the consumier exhibition over at national musuem. The exhibition was really crowded! The 4 fashion drawings above are my favourites  out of the many sets (: It does remind me of the fashion drawing fundamental class during year 2 back in TP. 

Qi's 21st

Happy birthday xing qi! Lovely flowers and present for the birthday girl. Seriously, i should watch my diet. How to resist the temptation of dim sum and my fav milk tea in HK? Ha ha Sigh, too much food consumed over the past few weeks. Birthdays, lunch with the family, meet-up, party and what nots.

Come to think of it, I'm joining the 21 club in a few more months :p 

Met up with the girls to celebrate Qi's birthday. I think i had too much cake, feeling so full to sleep. Meanwhile, shall do some research for my new proj since. 

我累了可是路还是要走下去。

虽然有太多的也许和万一， 

但是我相信船到桥头自然直。

It's been quite a while since i sat down and think about what to blog. Reason being i'm taking a break from work and giving my mind and body a chance to recover. I finally find myself waking up in the morning without having to rush to work. Will have more of such luxury time to clean up my room, catch with friends and keeping fit (badminton, ping pong, jogging?). 

All in all, it's been great catching up with life.
