Happy birthday kenny! Just came back from ken's bd celebration. I had a great time bbq-ing with bestfuls and drew. Haven't bbq for a years?! I can smell a satayish smell from my head to toes! Going to do some work since this week would be a short one. Flying off on in a few days time for a short company 'research/ shopping' trip (: I know i shl be feeling grateful about the exporsure i'm getting and all. He he Thank you bosses. Will miss my boy, home and loved ones!

My afternoon was spent going through the drawings from the sign fabricator, tidying up my wardrobe and resting. Here I am planning to start sketching for a new brief, there came a sms to update me on a meeting next coming mon morning. Sigh, i just want a simple weekend. So much to do yet so little time. Maybe i should seriously think about it... May next week be a better one (:

The Big '2' - With SDK

Met up at ikea last sat for breakfast with SDK! I love my tuna croissant :) Then we walked ard and took more pictures! Stef left to meet jx. Not knowing where to go, Kenny decided to bring us to this lovely restaurant. Free parking, salad buffet, main course buffet, drink and desserts at a affordable price. Shared the fish n chicken combo with desmond, the portion was big enough for 2! Would definitely go back there again, thanks ken for the recommendation.

Then we can came across some old shop houses near outram. Took more photos and drove up to mount faber. Thanks for the great accompany, had a fun time exploring new places on this tiny red dot. Thanks stef for the pretty card. Take care and see ya guys soon.

The big '2' - With love

Aft the ceremony and catch up at e cafe, love went to pick up his surprise present and we headed to Singapore Flyer. The city skyline was spectacular but didn't manage to capture any nice photos. Am having plans to invest in a DSLR and hopefully take better night shots.

Oh, btw my heels gave way on me while purchasing the tickets. So i literally walked around barefooted and trying to ignore the weird stares from ppl. I can't help but be thankfully andrew drove so i borrowed his shoes and went to the marina square to get a new pair while he waited in the car. It was rather drama but memorable that such incident actually happened on my birthday. I enjoyed the night with you. Thank you for e sincerity and the surprises (:

NYAA Gold Award Ceremony

a big birthday present for myself (:

It's been a challenging yet fulfilling journey. I took about 2 years to complete all the criteria of the award- since I started in year two and completing it just after graduation. The highlights of the ceremony- we went up individually and shook hands with The President Mr. S R Nathan. My first experience to meet the President so up close. I think most of us got a lil nervous when the MC called out our name and when President spoke to every single recipient. Aft the ceremony, uncle sam brought us to some cafe and catch up (: It been a while since we met... So much has happened during the past 3 months.

Looking back, it was a last min decision to accompany lanhui to enquire about the Gold Award during year 2. Then we went to SAA and so that's how i met uncle sam! It was also through him that i got in touch with sports club, nyaa challenge, opportunities to design for sch wide events, fyp, how i met andrew and we fulfilled his dream(he shared with lanhui n me during the first conversation) to plan a train trip to malaysia last year. Thank you seems nv enough but i don't know what else to say. Thank you for your encouragement, guidance and making my journey during poly years a pleasant one.

Hi Mr Tan,

I've decided to give it a go after some considerations. I was kind of held back by my worries of not having enough of the calibre yet.

However, I want to give it a good try, a chance to do my very best. I'm sure it will be a good opportunity to learn and explore, build up my portfoilo and gain new knowledge.

I also wish to find out if there is weekly meeting to attend or do I only have to help with those design works?
