'All you need is love'
Hex got toge last night, caught the 2h 11mins movie: across the universe. It's kinda abstract and confusing at some point. but it's sure more of a arty farty kind of musical with great vocals and out of the box imagination. Like the others, i love and admired the scene about the strawberry fields.
It's inspiring the way they had strawberries pinned up on a board and red juice/paint oozes out and runs down the board in this artsy farty way. And how the idea was carried consistent through and was being applied onto e postcard design.
Didn't really get the complete story at the end but i enjoyed the company! Thanks desmond's cousin for the free movie tickets! Aft the movie, we headed to 85 for supper. Thanks kenny for the ride home (:

Enjoy ur coffee!
A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, go together to
visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into
complaints about stress in work and life.
Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned
with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic,
glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite -
telling them to help themselves to the coffee.
When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If
you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving
behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only
the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.
Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee.
In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what
we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you
consciously went for the best cups... And then you began eyeing each
other's cups.
Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in
society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and
the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of Life we
live.
Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee
God has provided us."
God brews the coffee, not the cups. So enjoy your coffee!
"The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the
best of everything."
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Life is beautiful :)

No.16 & 17
Today, celine gave me some posters as usual and told me that she have no idea who else she can give these posters to when i graduate. Come to think of it, she has developed the habit of giving me posters since year 2 and i've been keeping those that i like since then. No wonder my inspirational items collection has been increasing :)
For the remaining months, i shall enjoy doing work at the cozy area, designing & resting on the green sofa , sending document to printer no.3, cherish the 'permanent saa resident' label, sports club & nyaa clubrooms, the 2 main committee members and last but not least the 2 adviors :)
I'm sure gonna miss every little memories! But right now, i shall just conc on fyp and balance my time with cca commitments. James na was right, I can't help but get so anxious and worried over their slow response in replying and many other things. It's tough but i'll just do my best, overcome it and draw a line when there's a need. Afterall, there's time my body need a break.
I'm so looking forward to tml's celebration with my boy. Thanks for the surprising pink and orange combi (: They're so pretty!
